2300SF Patio

This beautiful patio starts under the deck and wraps around the pool. It has a staircase coming off the deck onto the patio.

Wooden Retaining Wall Removal

This wooden retaining wall has some unforeseen difficulties. The metal poles sat four feet underground buried in concrete. The project however was completed on time and within budget. It’s the perfect example of my dedication to deliver a quality product, no matter what complications arise, in order to ensure full client satisfaction.

3 Tier New Beach

From no beach or lake side spaces to a wonderful set of outdoor spaces to be enjoyed night and day while at the same time being connected to the house.

Three Tier Retaining Wall

A six-foot wall was replaced with a three-tier retaining wall. Stairs that gradually got bigger led to a patio at the bottom of the wall.

Lawn Renovation and Reconfiguration

The client asked if we could turn a lawn that was very neglected into a thriving lawn. After a few hours are pulling stumps and reconditioning the seedbed was prepped.

Driveway Clean Out and Grading

Removed small bushes and regraded driveway making driveway much more easy to maneuver.

Long Over Due, But Never to Late. Brush Mowing

Brush mowing with an excavator is cleaner and efficient than hand labor or a brush hog. The mower that is equipped to our excavator has the capacity to cut grass up to a 6" soft wood tree.

Moving Large Obstacles During Jobs

With every job, there are objects that seem to always be in the way. These are some photos of those events. Some of our equipment is designed to work it tight spaces that larger machine won't fit .

Full Lawn and Landscape Renovation

After the construction of their new home, the client was left with a large pile of fill in his front lawn. We were able to create a backyard with the fill and redirect water away from the house which was completed in 2020. In 2021 the client asked to have a walkway installed.

Brush Cutting

Both invasive and native cause much overgrowth on this site. We use special attachments to atack these situations.

Patch Pond

This wall is a great example of what happens to a wooden retaining wall. The wall was completely rotten and falling apart. With septic risers and unknown private electrical lines we had our work cut out for us. We were able to turn this project around in just 1 week.

AB Wall and Ideal Paver Patio

We were contracted to replace two walls and a walkway to the front door. Both the wall and the walkway came out amazing.

Land Clearing Job

After pulling 150 yards of stumps we started to do our cut fill. After the cut fill was done we worked on the farmer's wall. Cleaning up this 2-acre lot makes it useable for the owner.

Boulder Retaining Wall

A boulder retaining wall on the waterfront was falling down. We were contracted to do a full restoration per state orders.

A Full Hardscape Renovation (Walls, Walk Ways and Patios)

The client had several hardscapes that were crumbling after years of use. As of 2021, we have replaced all of them.

Brush mowing is a great way to push back those branches that are scratching your car and keep a property clean.

Granite Steps, Retaining Wall & Outdoor Lighting

Backyard Steps & Driveway Drainage

Tree Planting

Replacing the old wooden steps with forty modern granite steps and six landings, in addition to LED lighting allows for a safer and more accessible walk to the beach as well as a stunning nightly light show. The pre-existing retaining wall was replaced with a  stone strong product retaining wall block. The wall was fifty feet in total. The completion of this job allows for a more enjoyable usage of the beach. Lighting along the wall encourages the beach to be used for any kind of summer occasion! Low blueberry sod was used as erosion control.

The job focused on installing twenty granite steps for accessibility to the horse barn. The lawn was also redone due to a lack of loam. A catch basin needed to be installed for the driveway to allow for adequate drainage.

Trees were planted all around the client's property. A total of ten needed to be installed, the tallest was sixteen and a half feet. Approximately weighing 4200 pounds. This project included replacing four pine trees that had blown over in a microburst. Work was completed over a single weekend.

Tree Planting

Summer 2022

A twenty-foot round patio was installed using Yankee Coble stone pavers. The patio features a fire pit xl lowered for height to warm the whole body. In total, up to ten people can be accommodated. This is a great improvement to the previous fire pit only surrounded by grass.

220 FT Well Line

Drilling contractor Skillings & Sons notified the customer of our services to have a 220-foot well line dug. There were several obstacles including the home's main power, along with several other utilities. After the site was cleaned up with a final grade, new loam, and Swails were installed.

Granite Block Retaining Wall

2'x2'x6' granite block retaining wall installed to help contain erosion.

Site Makeover

The full works for this project, lot cleared, stumps pulled, foundation dug, septic installed, driveway installed and more. We finished this project working side by side with the contractor, making sure everything was done on time and all change orders were completed. This was definitely an amazing project to be able to see from start to finish.

Basement Access & Patio

Replacing the old railroad tie wall was key in allowing safe access out of the basement. This was achieved with two block walls, both walls supported the soil to keep the overhead deck structurally sound. A patio was installed using Andover collection pavers with the border being 55/11 pavers. A double-sided sitting wall allows seating for an old Boston fireplace.

Seperating Spaces

This project included a twelve-foot retaining wall that was used as a structural wall between the upper and lower garages. The wall featured some sections with fifteen feet geo grid for support. Two smaller walls with patios were used for drainage as well as to clean up the walk-in and walk-out areas of the home. Drainage systems were installed throughout the entire project. The main obstacles worked through were underground power lines and other utilities.

Years and years of water running through the culvert has shown. As the water comes up, it pulls the ground around it. We installed a new 3’ culvert to offer more water flow comparable to the 15” culvert. Along with that, we moved a sheep shed to a new pasture. The ground was like working on a jello pad as there is 15’ of peat that we were working on.

About the only way to view all the work done on this site is from a helicopter. We worked closely with the clients to develop multiple outdoor spaces on the side of a mountain. Natural materials was the basic philosophy for this project. Raw bluestone patios with permeable grout to control run off.  Boulder retaining walls. Custom stone firepit created on site by our skilled stone carving team. Erosion control mulch and river stone.  Regrading of entire property for proper drainage.  Sod for water absorbsion.

Steep Beach

This extremely steep site was a challenge to even get machines to the beach which required ramps. Once done the beach was about twice a big as original. Many advanced building materials and techniques were use to deal with the steepness and the drainage.

Water Drainage

Mountain Retreat

Site Rebuild

This is a difficult build due to limited space.  The results speak for the craftmanship of our crew.

Foundations

Excavating for foundations and slabs involve precise material removal as well as leaving areas undisturbed.  Also have to deal with plumbing, electrical, and drainage needs simultaneously.

Addition

Removal of an addition that was on concrete pilings. After removing the addition and digging out the new foundation, an old natural gas line stub needed to be removed. The walls were poured and we backfilled the foundation and got prepared for loam.

From patios to parking pads, pavers offer a great parking area that will withstand for years. This client had a small area to do this project, but we were able to complete it in time. The whole parking pad is permeable, allowing forthe  perfect area for water to work its way through the ground.

From start to finish, this wall got the best of all aspects, we made this property a lot more usable. The wall utilizes a drain system right at the water height to allow the water to move freely in the spring, summer, and fall. A dock landing pad was also added, making the dock installation easy and fast.

Simple Patio

This simple patio shows some of the advanced installation techniques while providing the center piece for future outside projects.

Septic Repair

A septic line blockage is always a cause for concern. We dug out this septic line and found out that there was not proper compaction, and over time it sank and caused the pipe to bow and cause a backup. After removing the pipe we compacted the ground and laid in a new sewer line with insulation and a heat line. This will service the customer for years to come.

Erosion Control

Erosion control at its core. We removed this hill to open up the backyard for the client. The hill was mainly sand, so we covered it with 4-6” riprap to stop the hill from eroding for years to come.

Regrade

After years of water issues, the yard was starting to hold too much water. We removed several buried stumps and two truckloads of rocks. Removing these two items was necessary to regrade the property to move the water away from the house.
